Your Clients Need Monthly Books. You Don’t Want To Do Them.
Refer the bookkeeping, keep the tax work, and stop receiving files in March that take a week to make sense of. We do the monthly books; you file the return on records that are already right.

A client with bad books costs you more than they pay.
Every tax practice has these. None of them want the monthly work.
March arrives with a shoebox
Reconstructing a year in filing season is the least profitable work in any practice, and it is done under the worst time pressure.
You bill for cleanup you did not want
The fee never covers the disruption, and the client resents paying it because they thought they were paying for a return.
Extensions you did not need
Filed because the records were not ready, not because the return was complex.
You cannot advise properly
Planning conversations need current numbers. Without them you are reacting to last year instead of shaping this one.
Turning them away loses the return too
Saying "sort your books out first" often means losing a client who would otherwise have been perfectly good.
Hiring a bookkeeper is a big step
A salary, management and a service line you did not want to run, for what is often a handful of clients.
We do not want your tax work.
That is the question every CPA is actually asking, so here is the answer plainly.
We do monthly bookkeeping. We are not building a tax practice and we are not looking to become anyone’s accountant of record. When a client we keep books for needs a return, that is your work and we say so.
The arrangement only works if you trust it, and it only stays trustworthy if we are boring about the boundary. So: we do not pitch tax services to referred clients, we copy you on the monthly reporting if you want it, and if a client asks us to take the return we tell them to speak to you.
If you would rather it never carried our name at all, the white-label option does the same work under your brand.
Two ways, and you pick per client.
Refer
You introduce us, we contract with the client directly, and you keep the tax relationship. Nothing to administer and no risk to you.
White-label
We work under your brand, you own the client relationship entirely, and we never appear. Priced per client for your firm.
Either way, you get the file right
Reconciled monthly, tax-ready, and handed over in the form you want it — not a year of transactions in April.
The commitments that make this work.
What CPAs ask us.
01Do you pay a referral fee?
02What if my client is a mess right now?
03How do I know the work is any good?
04What software do you work in?
05Are you a US firm?
Send us one client and see.
No agreement to sign and nothing to commit to. One client, one month, then decide.
